  4. Via email (Tax only).

When calling our toll-free number, you will be prompted to press "1" to speak directly with a tax specialist on the TaxHotline; press "2" for legal assistance, which will connect you with the legal call center and direct you to a Tax Principle attorney in your area; or press "3" for Customer Service.

Tax Assistance

All tax and financial assistance is provided by the TaxHotline, which includes tax attorneys, financial analysts, and tax professionals. You may call with questions or for advice as often as necessary... and there are no consultation time limits. Your questions will be answered in a confidential and secure environment. (Refer to the "Tax Assistance and Preparation" section located under Services for a description of the services these professionals can provide.)

Legal Assistance

For legal advice and services, you will be asked to give a brief description of your legal situation so that an attorney with the expertise required for your situation can answer your questions. The attorney will be located in your area and, together, you and your attorney will decide whether a face-to-face consultation is necessary. This is a personal decision between you and your attorney. Your initial consultation for each new legal issue (up to 30 minutes per issue) is available for no charge as a benefit of Tax Principle, as are other services described on this website. (Refer to the "Small Business Legal Services" and "Real Estate Legal Services" sections located under Services). For additional services, you will pay your attorney directly. Please ask for his or her specific requirements. All of your legal matters are exclusively between you and your Tax Principle attorney; PEI will not interfere in any way with the attorney/client relationship you establish. Participating attorneys are obligated by their state's professional Code of Ethics to maintain the utmost confidentiality in all of their attorney/client relations.
